[hotspur (Chris)]

Its been very very hot lately,so decided to start work early as I can,was off at 5 am this morn to start work,but looks like the Kooka's had already been up before me and this one had nailed a meal-a very young bandicoot.

This Kooka's capture happened right in front of where I was working,I always have my 400L within arms length in the bush these days,and captured these images-around 1/200th iso 640 and F 5.6 with 400L and 50D,its was still rather dim,and overcast-hence the settings.

Not the most pleasant of images (hope ned flanders does not get post removed)-but this is nature,and how often does one have a good piece of glass at hand when nature does her thing.
