Hey John (Varangian), the clearing is exactly where we park our cars. Our scopes are usually set up right next to it too; I usually place my laptop on the boot on my car. So provided the gravel/grass surface isnt a problem, it will be quite close to your vehicle
Alistair, yea I'm happy to bring the RC8 instead, I find that my 22T4 doesn't come into focus with it if I use a diagonal so I don't want a sore neck
I figured your 8" and my NEQ6 would be a great combo. We'll see how we go on Saturday, let me know!
