Thanks Ivan, the various derot functions in WinJUPOS have opened up the possibility of achieving better signal to noise ratios such that even very ordinary data can still result in an overall improvement in resolved detail, better in fact than any one of the individual contributing RGB data sets. I still have a way to go in sorting this out, progress has been slow due to the lack of data I have had this apparition but I seem to be going in the right direction.

Hi Mark, Jupiter may well be low but Saturn will climb very high for us this year, a fair trade off I think.
