And in a first for amateur astronomy...At 1025 postie arrived with a new eye-piece (thanks Morton). At 1025 + 5 seconds (couldn't wait for first light tonight) the EP is attached to my Lunt and there was the magnificent prominence.
This probably means that Central Queensland is going to suffer with a prolonged wet season. Sorry
