Jupiter with a QHY5

Am experimenting with my QHY5 mono guide camera for planetary work. This is a capture using the QHY5 from last night, with a 200mm f6 newtonian and a budget GSO 2.5x barlow.

This is a composite of two images - one to capture the moons and the other to capture the details of Jupiter itself - all using the QGVideo software that shipped with the camera followed by Registax 6

Jupiter: 320x240 frame image, Gain 58%, Exposure 18ms, approx 50fps, 1min capture, kept 50% of best frames in Registax, used linked Gaussian wavelets

Moons: 1280x1024 frame image, Gain 100%, exposure 50ms, approx 5fps, 1min capture, kept 50% of best frames in Registax, used linked Gaussian wavelets

Images combined using Gimp.
