10fps when the seeing is this good with a toucam would compress the data and i would lose some of it. when the seeing is 5/10 instead of 9/10, then 10 or 15 fps is the go to get a bigger batch to choose from.
yes ice 5am is the best time at the moment temps have stabilized, jup nice and high and beig blessed with a loveley hole in the jetstream.
it really makes it worthwhile when you load it into registax, the "best" frame is sorted to the top and you sit back and look at a single frame that would count in your top 10 inc the processed ones
