registax will sort out the best frames in the initial "align" and resorts them, if you then go to the new #1 frame via framelist and do the alignment again, then the reference becomes the best frame. if you then create a reference with the best 10%, then this becomes the reference for the optimising. a small amount of wavelets ie 5.8 on #3 enhances this reference frame, but not too much otherwise when optimising, the all the other frames will have a hard matching an overprcess reference.
