Thanks Ivan - Yes it seems to be the way now, that I can get detail easy enough on moons & yet still achieve a mediocre result on Jupiter at the same time. Yes it was unusual seeing actually. A bit like looking into a pool of water but someone was dropping pebbles in & I was getting this rippling effect. Reckon it's only the second time I've seen this type of seeing since starting planet imaging..

ADC - I guess I was hoping for a small miracle but the only advantage on Jupiter @ 45 degrees is I no longer have to worry about an RGB auto shift in Registax...No doubt will come into it's own the lower the target.
