Now I know what the meaning of boredom is, I tried doing a bit of star gazing, can’t do it to painful I might give solar observing ago
What do you think
John, you have my sympathy - but let me inject a positive note if Imay. I did a similar thing 6 months ago - damaged 2 discs badly in a fall (in the observatory of all places) and went through some pretty rough months. But now, 6months down the track, the residual spinal deformity is there amd will remain, but I have regained much of my mobility. I am not pain-free by any means but I can walk, drive, do basic handiwork, sensible lifting etc. Time may not completely heal, but it does ease the pain a lot.
Chin up- if you can.
Peter
