Humm...the noise dominates quite a bit, plus the limb-coronal boundary lacks highlight detail. ( I used about 18 raw images for my 2006 TSE shot )
Canon DSLR's have way better noise supression these days, but even then, the image breaks down when you push the data too much.
Might be a case of less is more.
