I use a couple of magnets out of old car speakers wrapped in a bit of foam and black canvas tape. Can move them up and down the tube to adjust if needed. I got them from a shop that installs car sound systems as they often have old ones they are going to throw away anyway. You need an angle grinder to cut out the magnet I found it leaveS a few rough edgeS, hence wrapping them up.
Bintel sells Farpoint counterweights that attach to the place where the locking screws go (I always advise removing the locking screws anyway, no use at all!) but the magnets cost $0 apart from the tape and easy to adjust.
