I ended up crashing the party for a couple of hours
So many IIS people there, and I only met a fraction of the people there. I got to see how many people were there when someone shouted "group photo" and we all migrated outside!
Some stories of near misses, some of misses, while others had perfect conditions, it reinforced how fortunate I was to have the clouds part just before totality!
My final mission before I fly out tomorrow is to buy myself one of those eclipse T-shirts!
