Another item for sale, my very first telescope and mount, it is hard for me to part with this little rig as I have truly enjoyed using it and it was the hook that bought me into Astronomy. I was going to give this set up to my daughter but she just doesn’t have the patience and time for astronomy so it needs to find a new home.

What’s included?
· Sky Watcher Maksutov Cassegrain 127 mm Telescope
· Sky Watcher EQ3 Mount and Tripod
· Sky Watcher SynScan Pro Goto Upgrade Kit
· Orion Flexible Dew Shield
· Custom Case to fit it all in
· The usual 7.5, 10 and 25 mm eyepieces a 2 * Barlow, a 1 1/4 Diagonal and a Red Dot view finder.
· Aluminium Case for the accessories to go into.

I have spent well over $1200 on the full set up over time but will let it go for $600. This would be a great introductory set up for the budding astronomer and all that is required to finish the package is a 12volt battery.

As indicated in one of the photos one of the legs has had a repair performed on it, it now works without issue but the glue can be seen where the repairs were made.

Lastly it is a large tub that it all fits in so will cost a bit to post so pick up preferred or buyer pays postage.


As an update, the optics and condition of this scope and mount are in excelent condition if not like new, the only fault is with the repaired leg clamp on the tripod. To purchase this set up new is $945.00 without goto as seen here, and a further $645 for the Goto Upgrade kit as seen here. So this is truly a bargain at less than half the normal price to purchase new.
