Rare Pentax XL 40mm eyepiece, 5 elements in 5 groups, 65 degree field of view, 20mm eye relief, height adjustable eyecap. Some believe Pentax eyepieces to be the best ever made, search the web and find out for yourself. Reason for sale is I use Pentax XW eyepieces in a 6 eyepiece turret, I recently purchased a Pentax XW40mm to replace the XL40mm, the Pentax XL eyepieces aren’t parfocal with the WX range of Pentax eyepieces so this one is now surplus to my needs, it’s in excellent condition apart from a few minor marks on the chrome, see the photos. Comes with data sheet and box.
