I'm convinced guys. Laurie, does the 102 scope make for a reasonable viewing scope? If I get a eq5 like I say I'd like a ed80 scope for photography but the ed 100 is only a couple hundred dearer. Would your 102mm scope not do for deep sky stuff if you had a dslr?
