IE is notorious for causing similar issues. Generally clearing cache and resetting advanced settings solves it.
Thanks Nathan. I regularly remove all temporary files anyway, but I haven't tried resetting advanced settings, as I thought that unnecessary because I reinstalled program. However, I see you point and will give that a go, thanks.
