If you're looking for a wide lens for an aps-c sized sensor(?) then I would recommend the Tokina 11-16mm f2.8. A friend of mine has it on his 7D and it's way sharper (and faster) than either the Canon 10-22 or the Sigma 10-20, which I thought were VERY soft unless stopped down significantly. It's almost as good as my 16-35L on my 5DmkII.
