Getting 16 bits from a 4.3micron bayer sensor is quite an achievement.
If they can do that then they probably have some new sensor technology or new optical arrangements up their sleeves. eg Tri sensors, dual amplifiers, photomultipliers, super low noise sensors etc
That will be more interesting than the camera !
