It is difficult enough to match NB data with your own optics. The bright stars have coloured haloes due to the optics not being perfect.

I could imagine where a slower refractor and my RH200 could meld data to produce a very good image, could be possible.

It is a feasible idea but all participants would really have to know what they are doing!


I would be willing to collect deep data that then can be used with slower longer length APO's with far more resolution than my optic to supply the chromaticity data.
