even tho it is sort of covered in the crashing on the way home choice - what about hitting a kangaroo or wombat/livestock/road trains - lets face it, it can be nutso driving around most of rural Australia at night/dusk

I just missed two roos and 15 rabbits a few days ago
Of course the answer is too go slower in area's where roo's are common, that seems to work quite well most of the time. Also look out and beware on roads where the vegetation/bush is too close to the road.
