Yes modding a DSLR like that sure is the go. My Hutech 350D is apparently in Australia just waiting for Customs to get its rear end into gear and send it on to me.
Some more pics. A shot of the Trapezium of M42, a 20 and 30 sec ISO 200 stacked, NGC 2467, 3 x 5 mins ISO 1600, outskirts of Eta carina neb. the same settings.
all shot with 10 inch F5.6 newt. with UHCS filter and MPCC.
