Following on from that, they probably be OK with morning sun but afternoon sun could burn them. Also consider what is around them. My eastern fence is brown colourbond so anything up against that fence has to put up with the afternoon heat plus the reflected heat from the colourbond. I've killed a few delicate plants that way but things like Banksia and Accacia go quite well there.
