Jupiter data for download

Hi Guys & Gals,

Both JJJ and i have had great seeing nights. Both of the data ie videos (jjj) and the r/g/b bmps are all available for download at:

http://precons.com/iceinspace/gallery/

Watch the sizes of the files, broadband recommended. if you only have dial up, then pm your email and i will try and cut them up a little smaller.

Newbies,

try jjj's first, it will give you a good feel for what your movies should look like when the seeing is great. Load the movies into registax and cut your teeth on it so to speak.

A guide: http://precons.com/iceinspace/Articl...otracking.aspx

Once you have had a good go, try downloading mine which has been split up into red, green and blue channels. This means you have to process each lot in registax separately and then combine in astral image etc. This is more advanced, but it amazing how the different wavelengths vary in registax re quality and resulting wavelets sensitivity!

I have had trouble getting colour with JJJ's, not sure why i could get any?

Also for an astral image guide, i wrote this before i got tracking, so skip to the end where i have the astral image stuff

Note: when you open up the resulting red, green & blue stacked images from registax in astral image, you have to convert to greyscale to work on them.

Have fun!
