Mozzie,

I got a very brief look through very infrequent gaps in the clouds here in Adelaide. From my site, it was going to be close to grazing.

I was set up at 6am and got 4 (count them, 4!) glimpses of about 20 seconds each at various stages up to about 7:10am when the clouds became solid.

So, didn't see the closest approach, but it was still a remarkable sight. Jupiter was so large compared to the moon!
