Yep - that's right too! I'd forgotten about the "durians" nickname as that I'm sure came later; in the beginning when I was there about 6 years ago the "pineapples" in the local language was the always mentioned by the cabbies et al - well they're all tasty fruits anyway
Did you try the durians at all? It's supposed to be the "King of Fruits"!
