chocolate stuff

from a non medical view point, this study shows that in a small population of end stage heart failure patients, eating good chocolate improved some biochemical markers of sickness. Extrapolate what you will but I stand by my decent red wine and my 70% dark chocolate.
Plus astronomy as a way of winding down. Though they didn't directly measure astronomy exposure, in fact - they didn't even mention it!
Nuff said.

Here's a quote that will curdle your milk, taken from Philip Ziegler, "London At War, 1939-1945"
"There was gallantry in plenty, a defiant and in its way splendid determination to eat, drink and be merry, but the drink, confounded with fornication and tobacco smoke-was the most conspicuous element in the brew, the merriment was hysterical and forced'"
