IPI 393 observatory class mount

I have an IPI 393 mount that I want to trade for a Paramount PME or is available for outright purchase.

The IPI 383 was the precursor of the Planewave Ascension 200 HR (> $21000 new) and is built to massive specifications:
  • 11.5" aeroquest gears on both axes, PE out of the box ~ 2 arc secs (http://www.aeroquest-machining.com/)
  • Massive 3" axes on both right ascension and declination axes
  • Sidereal technology controller (original model) with radio remote control
  • 2* 15 KG S/S counterweights and 1 * 20KG S/S counterweight all on a massive stainless steel shaft which is almost a counterweight in its own right
  • Has optical homing sensors on both axes which I have not been able to get working consistently
  • Seperate encoders on each shaft - not absolute
  • Losmandy saddle
This thing is BIG and HEAVY, so shipping is NOT an option.

This is a massive observatory class mount - not for the faint of heart

Inspection welcome.
