I just saw the "autostar" thread, and I guess this thread was prompted by that request. That is probably not exactly the sort of thing I posted about above, because this Meade software is needed to make the meade goto thing work (I know nothing about it but I presume that's how it works). I'm sure that if you own a Meade goto thing then you can get the software from Meade, if the license does not allow copying.
