Thanks Trevor, yes it was nowhere near as bad as I was expecting, and gives me hope that there will still be good images to be had from down south.

Thanks John, the seeing was finally better than average. Reasonably stable, just the jetstream giving everything a bit of a soft focus effect. Will be magic if I can catch some good seeing.

Hi Steve, I agree. This is normally the less interesting side of Jupiter, what with the GRS and Oval BA on the other side. I was surprised how many of the streamers there were.
