NGC6960, M20 and NGC253 with a 400D

Been fortunate to have a few clear nights here in Griffith, so a couple of sleepless nights but some interesting shots for me, all using my 200mm f6 newtonian and the modded 400D @ ISO800. Processed with PixInsight and Darktable.

Started with NGC6960. 16 x 8min subs. Seemed promising, but i think a little too low in the sky combined with some setup issues - trialling a side-by-side setup, as i dont have enough counter balance weight when using the f6 newt to offset my normal piggyback setup that I would have with the f4, and i've got some work to do to get nice round stars with 8min subs. Possibly soft focus didn't help either. Tried some deconvolution (which i'd never used before) with mixed results. Oh well - some aspects to work on for the following night.

So this time, M20 with 40 x 4min subs. Shorter subs and double checked focus did the trick i think - very happy with this one.

Finished up with NGC253. 52 x 4min subs. Again pretty happy with this result.

As always, any advice/comments/encouragement welcome
