Yeah a big step up indeed from the 130 which provided very average views. My dad has a little spotting scope that gave me much better views then the 130 ever did. Even after being collimated and left to cool down for hours. So i have had the Meade out a few times now and i just cant get over how razor sharp everything is. First few times viewing I was having trouble collimating the primary mirror but decided to have a good go at it today and got it perfect using the laser collimator. Looking forward to checking it out again soon.
