There must have been something in the air last night.

I setup, got everything going, focused, got the autoguider up and running, did a crappy drift alignment and then honed in on the Sculptor Galaxy. Setup my camera to take 1min subs and walked inside.

About 6 minutes later I hear the dreaded beeps indicating the guidestar is lost. Yep full cloud cover. What the heck, it's been one of the nicest days I can remember. I figured I see if the clouds let up. 2 hours worth of beeping I decided to pack up and about 2 minutes after I packed up it started raining. Phew a near miss if I've ever seen one.

Stupid God of Astronomy.
