I was just meaning to say that you need enough aperture to resolve fine (angular) detail, before seeing becomes an issue (and trying to crack a joke at the same time

). For visual at sea level, about 5" seems to be the borderline where seeing is ordinarily is more limiting than aperture at high power, on bright targets like the Moon or the gas giants.
Mick, did you see the Hubble-esque photos taken with a 60mm Tak and posted here by ausastronomer?
