I'm glad you all like it. Colin hit the nail on the head John. The moon was at that magic phase when it is bright enough to light up the landscape nicely but not too bright to wash out the Milky Way.
I should have also pointed out that this is a vertical panorama made from 6 horizontal images which was originally a lot wider and included the moon, but I cropped it down as I felt the blown out moon was dominating the shot.
