For those that own an f5 dob and living with light polution, an exit pupil of 5mm as given by a 25mm eyepiece gives a much nicer (IMO) darker sky background than a longer focal length one.
The only time I use my 31mm nagler is at a dark sky locations, and my 24mm panoptic gets
much more use.
