Paul - it is certainly great fun having two observatories seperated by an entire hemisphere. I am particularly thrilled when I am imaging on both simultaneously, and I have had to put labels on the monitors to remind me which system is which.

You are going to see many artefacts if you are only looking at the 200kb thumbnail. I am always very careful about any sort of artefact from processing, so I dont think you will find those in the full image. As for the reflections - they do not appear to be a problem on axis, but off-axis is a different story. There again, I have 3 high quality scopes from different manufacturers and I have owned 3 different types of filter - and it doesnt matter - you are going to get reflections and you have to live with them either being outrageously bad or tolerable.
