Hope I'm not spamming the thread. Sorry if thats the case but I'm hoping this is relevant to others.
I've had a look at the code for the Home Base device and it looks like it should be possible to add additional drivers - there are others working on Linux drivers for various guiders and cameras (partly as a spinoff of trying to port PHD to Linux) so it may be possible to leverage off that.
Amongst other thinks I've asked Belkin if there are any plans to release the code for the F5L009. Either device could be a great backbone for telescope control if every device on the scope which needed to go back to the computer could be routed via them. Be nice if Orion would do Linux drivers for their devices.
