Can you clarify? You said the pre-programed PEC was a total of 5 peak to peak. You then ran 7 cycles to do a new curve and came back with a peak to peak of 3.9.

Did you turn off pre-programmed PEC when you ran PemPro to arrive at 3.9? If so, then this indicates that the pre-programmed PEC is worse than no PEC.

Or is 3.9 your residual PEC after training?

The reason I ask is that I've wondered about pre-programmed PEC for mounts manufactured in northern hemisphere, given that the worm in a conventional RA drive must run in the opposite direction for southern hemisphere use.
