I know mine rattles a bit if i have loosened the grub screws to adjust its angular position.

Basically it's where the bayonet of the camera body mates onto the notch of the T Ring. The notch is slightly larger than the bayonet, hence the rotational movement and rattle.

Suggest you look at the Baader planetarium version...very tight machining, no vignetting. Not cheap but doesn't rattle either
