Thanks guys I really appreciate your comments.

Fernando I have been trying to get that seamless feel in this mosaics for some time. I still think there is a misalignment in the etalon is just a couple of spots, but overall this is one of my better efforts.

Hiresale each movies is taken separately at 1 minute increments. I have to use a RAM drive to record all the frames possible, so this takes about 30 seconds to discharge between each avi. That gives me time to position for the next panel. Overlaps of each panel are about 20% and probably need to be around 30% for maximum effect. One thing that needs to be borne in mind is that the panels have to be completed as quickly as possible to minimise movement in the features.

Mike, yes this is an issue that is not recoverable. Two things compounded this problem. The top panels were cloud effected and this made those darker. When the autoblend took place it made the top panels appear lighter in the space section. I could do a mask and try to make all the sky appear uniform. If this image gets entered in any competitions I will certainly address the flaws but I am hoping to produce much better results yet.

Dennis, yes an assistant would be good. This took nearly 11 hours to process. 8 hours was taken up in stacking of the panels. Perhaps zoomify needs to be added to my images?? At a smaller scale though the newton's rings I have in the image can be seen though. I will have to address this with the camera. I am uncertain how I will do this as the cover glass appears to be stuck over the sensor and this is what is causing the rings. Thoughts?
