I use Symbicort as a preventive and salbutamol for active control. I smoke 30 cigarettes a day, work with cement and haven't had any major issues since i was 15. Before i was 15 i was placed into hospital 3 times for nearly a month each time. Its all about control, eat the right foods, keep fit i use to do 30mins - 1hr on a treadmill at 7kmh and keeping in contact with your G.P.
I have found the only day's i'am screwed on are spring days and just before it rains is still a tad hard with coughing and wheezing. Anyhow chat with your G.P. or find a good one because the best thing is being preventive
