LRGB of 3x180 secs exposure of the core of 47 Tucanae.

Hello,

Whilst waiting for the dawn gathering of Venus, Jupiter, Aldebaran, the Pleiades and Hyades, I whiled away the time practicing auto guiding at the native focal length of the Mewlon 180 F12, which is 2160mm on my EM200.

I didn’t get it quite right as the stars seem to have a “shield” profile and I think this might be due to chasing the seeing as the conditions were pretty awful.

Anyhow, here is an LRGB of 3x180 secs exposure (SBIG ST2000XM & CFW9) of the core of 47 Tucanae, an experimental exercise rather than a genuine endeavour!
