The problems I found with this camera are 2 fold. The camera would not work with AAA rechargables, kept saying the battery was flat. This meant that it chewed through lithium batteries when using the flash underwater (10 shots in quick succession ie 3mins) and the battery suffered.

Because I turned the flash off, it suffered from slow shutter speeds due to lower light underwater. Bouncing around in the water yielded many blurry photos.

The camera was also fixed focus (@1.2m), not auto focus, which didnt help.

If I was to do it again, I probably would look at a slightliy more expensive camera, something in the $100-$150, that had an internal battery and autofocus, something like the Fujifilm XP20 which is $130
