These new images are deserving of a separate post - they are certainly worth showing off. This was a massive prom/ejection (1/2 solar radius??) and didn't last long at all. They are quite rare at this height I believe.
Solar observing is fascinating isn't it - just when you think you have seen it all - along comes something like this to blow you away. (no pun intended)
I also caught it yesterday visually and with a PST and DMK21 but am having difficulty cleaning the image up enough for posting.
