. Not in Chile, but on the other side of the volcanoes in Bolivia. I remember passing them the previous day, thinking how amazing it would be to see the eclipse rising over them (from Chile).

Yes, hard lesson learned re. the robbing. Only left the truck for 15 minutes to get a snack. I had my backpack with me with another disk and camera so all was not lost. To rub further salt in the wound my insurance mob refused to pay out because the loot wasn't in a boot. The truck didn't have one.
