We had an organised night out under the stars with a sit down dinner and a short and very basic guide of the night sky with one of the local astronomers. It's called the sounds of silence. Not cheap, but a wonderful evening none the the less. The guest speaker had a couple of telescopes set up so that everyone could have a look. Moon was full not long after nightfall so washed us out a bit but still had reasonable views of Saturn. Before moon rise the sky out there is black as black! Truly envious
