Also looking ahead to when I finish my 25.2" (640mm) f4.7 mirror. In the case of the 30mm the EP will increase to 6.4mm. The 24mm EP 5.12mm. Suggestions please.

Hi Guys/Girls,
Finally decided on the ES 30mm 82deg, even though the exit pupil will be quite large at around 5.6mm for my current optic (560mm primary mirror). The 30mm gives me a FOV of 0.82deg (49.2min.arc) and FOV of 1.37deg (1deg 22min.arc) for my 14" dob. For me max.FOV for "sweeping" and for framing globs (Omega Centaurus, Tucanae 47,etc), and of course other expansive DSOs, is a priority. One of the downsides of increasing aperture is decreasing FOVs. Thanks all

for your input.
Stephen.
