The focus adjustment in the finder scope is usually at the fat end. {technical term}.

There's a locking ring behind it which is released first.
then You focus by twisting/turning the main lens cell.
Once focused, tighten the locking ring again.

Thats how my Skywatcher finder scope works anyway.
