First light for the Tuckidome

Hello

Heres an image that is a work in progress.

It is also in another thread because of image calibration problems I was having but thought I would throw it up here to get some comment on its weaknesses so I can sort out the problems now and not have to rework heaps of images later on.

It is IC4604 and its 40mins .. 4 x 10 min luminence subs.
It took ages to frame it and Im not certain I have got ot right even now .. THEN after that not one star appeared in the built in guide camera to guide with .. I was pulling hair by this stage.
I ended up fitting the external camera to my TSA102 and using that ... big bonus of not having to guide thru filters and unless I have flex issues or the like will leave it setup like it is.

I have colour to add but the subs I took over 2 nights are not deep enough to provide anything usefull to the image .. so its back to the observatory tonight clouds permitting to capture some colour data.

Over to you for comments .. thanks
