Best viewing conditions for over three years

wanted to see what the first star that appears at solstance this week,Monday-Sirus at 5.23 pm,today was 5.22 pm.I wanted to briefly check alignment of mount-as had a tune up on weekend, all went well.Thought I'd have a little look around-well 5 hours later (my tea's a bit cold)-but was worth it-best views through my refractor for over three years-so clear and steady, all the objects looked so polished-5139,3372,4755 etc etc-it was just too good to come inside.

I also wanted to briefly test my new brazier made with two truck tyre rims welded and middles cut out, well test went well=just used ten heat beads and some charcol-save money on heat beads.

Here is a few images of brazier and my view of northern stars from my yard.
